  • When did the Society of Houston Latino Fire Fighters (SHLFF) become a 501 (c) (3) Non-profit?

    SHLFF make application to the IRS - on September 21, 2011. Received its non-profit status on March 13, 2013 from the IRS.

  • Is SHLFF a legally incorporated, tax exempt, 501 (c) (3) non-profit?

    SHLFF is a public charity exempt from Federal Income Tax under section 501 (C) (3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Contributions to SHLFF are tax deductible under section 170 of the code. Please consult, your Accountant or CPA for deductible Fair Market Value (FMV) of your donation.

  • What is the “Mission” of SHLFF?

  • When will the “Fire Fighter House” be ready to use?

    The Fire Fighter house project is in the fund raising stage and all funds are in hand project hopefully will be completed in 18 months from September 2013.

  • Who can I call or contact to help as a volunteer with the project?

  • I would like to send a donation by (Check). Who do I make it payable to?

    Make check payable to Society of Houston Latino Fire Fighters, Inc. or (S.H.L.F.F.)

  • What other method can i use to donate to the S.H.L.F.F.?
